Skye Kolealani Razon-Olds, Board Member

Skye “Kolea” Kolealani Razon-Olds, born and raised between Hawaiʻi and the continental U.S., is a Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner, community organizer, and values-based leader with over two decades of experience advancing equity, resilience, and self-determination for Native communities.

She serves as Director of Community Initiatives at Oweesta Corporation, a National Native-led financial institution where she works to support Indigenous clean energy, infrastructure, food, and data sovereignty initiatives. Previously, she led long-term housing and distribution programs through the Maui wildfire recovery efforts, helping to house over 1,000 individuals and furnish more than 900 homes.

Grounded in aloha ʻāina, Kolea continues to advocate for iwi kūpuna protection and cultural preservation, serving as Chair and Cultural Representative for the Hawaiʻi DLNR Nā Ala Hele Trails Council. She is also the founder of Kanaka Climbers and co-founder of the Indigenous Field Guide—initiatives merging cultural education with environmental stewardship.

Kolea also serves on the Board of Directors for Maui United Way and Urban Native Collective. She lives on Oʻahu with her husband, three keiki, five dogs, and seven tortoises, inspired daily by the belief that the future must be rooted, resilient, and bold.
